More harmful Chinese imports: no surprise.
I've said it before, I'll say it again - the United States needs to get tough with the Chinese on this kind of stuff.

How can we get tough with the number one manufacturer in the world that holds a trillion dollars of US currency. It is not about getting tough as much as getting back in the manfacturing game with a government that knows something about fiscal policy and regulating less. What the US needs is to adopt some of the same trade policies and regain manfacturing prowess we once had.
This is lunacy to believe we can get tough with the supplier of most of what we consume. Most of the clothes you are wearing was manufactured in China as well as domestic wares, home building materials, car parts, bicycles, etc. The list is too long to cite. The US is at Chinas' MERCY. No matter how economist explain away the problem, if we don't compete on their level without fantasy, the US will be number two. China has leaped decades ahead of predictions during the US recession. With a billion plus people and America in a directionless economic stance, the Chinese are now dictating our outcomes and lifestyles.
What is needed in the US is a "Back to the Future" economic model. We did it once, we can do it again.
